Kitchen renovation: from black gloss to light grey shaker

This kitchen started with dated black gloss cabinetry and tower units. It now has a light grey shaker kitchen with brass fittings, pantry-style storage and a glass chandelier over the room.

• Pantry-style storage in the new tall units

The finished room is lighter and calmer than the one it replaced, with the warm brass detailing tying the whole scheme together.
