Kitchen and bathroom designs and installations in Chelmsford

Homes in Chelmsford

Chelmsford is a large, growing city with Victorian and Edwardian terraces and villas close to the centre, a lot of 1930s and later family housing, and many newer developments. Kitchens range from small galley rooms to open-plan family spaces.

What we think about for Chelmsford homes

• In newer-build homes the kitchen layout can be fixed by the original design, so it is worth planning what can move, and what is better left in place.
• Period terraces often benefit from a rethink of how the kitchen connects to the garden and dining space.
• Family bathrooms need to work for several people at busy times, so storage and a shower that is easy to use come first.
